Some artists wait for opportunities. Others create their own.

For Ashley Tragic, the journey has been about backing his talent, building connections and creating opportunities for the next generation of performers.

From appearing on BBC One's Little Mix: The Search to establishing his own live showcases at BOXPARK Shoreditch, the London rapper and entertainer is steadily building his reputation within the UK music scene.

Now, with new management, fresh music on the horizon and another major event approaching, Ashley believes his biggest chapter is still ahead.

From Little Mix to BOXPARK Shoreditch

Following his appearance on Little Mix: The Search as part of YChange, Ashley was inspired to develop his passion for hosting and live entertainment.

His Ashley Tragic & Friends showcases at BOXPARK Shoreditch have since become recurring events, with previous editions attracting sold-out crowds.

"I wanted to create a platform where emerging artists could showcase their talents and gain the exposure they deserve," he explains.

Returning on 4 November 2026, the latest event features an extensive line-up including Nutty P, SH4YZ, Abiola A1, BobbiXtra, Versay, Silva Rose, Gloryuss, Shia Mari, RekkemRex, Tyler Humble and Lara Speedie, alongside DJ Kay Don't Play.

Blending rap, vocals and live instrumentation, the showcase reflects Ashley's commitment to supporting talent across different genres.

"These aren't just performers to me, they're my real-life friends, making this a celebration of both talent and community."

The event also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter following Ashley's recent management signing.

Music, Collaborations and Finding His Own Lane

Alongside his live events, Ashley has continued expanding his catalogue with releases including Party At Mine, Back Again (Tenerife) alongside SH4YZ and Abiola A1, Show Me featuring Genius Cru, UP and his Coldest Ashes EP.

Another standout moment came through his appearance on SF Cypher 38, part of Toddla T's Steeze Factory freestyle platform.

Ashley describes the experience as an opportunity to demonstrate his lyrical ability, individuality and confidence to a wider audience.

Having spent much of the year collaborating with other musicians, he's now ready to shift the spotlight firmly onto himself.

"I'm ready to show the world exactly what I'm capable of as an artist in my own right."

The Self-Belief to Reach the Top

Confidence has always been central to Ashley's identity.

Having started writing bars during his school years, he's progressed to performing alongside and connecting with artists he once admired from a distance.

With ambitions to become one of the UK's leading rappers, Ashley believes his versatility, stage presence and genuine love for music set him apart.

"I honestly believe it's what I was meant to do," he says.

"Beyond making music, I'm a genuine entertainer who enjoys connecting with people, performing, and creating memorable experiences."

It's that combination of musical ambition, personality and determination that continues to drive him forward.

Ashley Tragic, NYDUS and DUB 5 Studios

Ashley has also become a familiar face at DUB 5 Studios, recording at the company's London penthouse studios on numerous occasions, including a recent session in Studio B.

Over the past year, he's developed a genuine friendship with NYDUS, DUB 5's founder, artist and producer.

"Since meeting NYDUS, we've built a natural bond that goes beyond music," Ashley explains.

"I have a huge amount of respect for his talent and creativity as a producer, and because of that, we've already started discussing ways to create something special together next year."

Ashley also praised the studio's professional environment and creative atmosphere, describing his sessions as productive and enjoyable.

With discussions already underway, a potential Ashley Tragic x NYDUS collaboration in 2027 is another development to watch.

A New Chapter Begins

Between his expanding catalogue, live events, growing industry relationships and new management, Ashley Tragic is positioning himself for the next stage of his career.

His vision extends beyond individual releases. He wants to grow as an artist, entertain larger audiences and continue opening doors for the people around him.

"I genuinely believe I have the talent, versatility, and determination to make that happen," he says.

For an artist who has spent years turning ambition into opportunity, the next chapter is about taking everything to another level.

And Ashley Tragic has no intention of slowing down.
