DUB 5 Attend UK Black Business Week 2026 at ExCeL London

DUB 5 joined entrepreneurs, creatives and industry leaders at UK Black Business Week 2026, celebrating Black entrepreneurship, community and business development at ExCeL London.

NYDUS, founder and director of DUB 5, was invited to attend the event, which brought together professionals from across finance, technology, fashion, media and the creative industries.

The first evening at ExCeL featured the Black Men Business Talks, with speakers including Stefan Johnson of HSBC, Richard Ward of eBay, Dayo Okewale and Paul C. Brunson, alongside UK Black Business Week founder Raphael Sofoluke. With HSBC UK serving as headline partner, the wider event highlighted the importance of financial opportunity, leadership, community development and building sustainable businesses.

DUB 5 also attended the Black Fashion & Beauty Talks, featuring industry figures including Irene Agbontaen of Taller Than Your Average (TTYA), Kelliesha White of Depop, Karimah Reid-Bailey of L’Oréal, Trinicia Perch of Tapestry, Vanessa Vanderpuye and Felicia Brown.

For DUB 5, the relationship between music and fashion was particularly relevant. Both industries have long influenced one another through culture, identity, creative expression and storytelling. The discussions reinforced the opportunities that emerge when creative industries collaborate.

Overall, UK Black Business Week 2026 was an excellent celebration of entrepreneurship, ambition and community. Congratulations to Raphael Sofoluke and the entire organising team on another successful event.

DUB 5 looks forward to returning in 2027.
