TDH CYPHA Returns to DUB 5: North vs South London

TDH are back with their signature CYPHA and it’s being led by a female-run team bringing real energy and structure to London’s rap circuit. With three rooms, a controlled guestlist feel and a private setting that keeps things safe and focused, DUB 5 continues to be the ideal home for this kind of community-led event.

1) You’ve chosen DUB 5 again as the home for TDH CYPHA, what is it about the space and the energy here that makes it the right place for your events?

DUB 5 is genuinely a unique space and that matters to us. When people walk into DUB 5, it feels like TDH, not like just another generic venue and the vibe it brings fits us perfectly. It brings a homely atmosphere and we love that for our next event we’re building on the idea of 3 rooms with 3 different vibes. Beyond the space, the team at DUB 5 have been part of our journey from early on and they’ve watched us grow. It feels natural to stay somewhere that understands our vision and supports it, everything works naturally.

2) North vs South London is always a heated debate… before the night even starts, who do you think is taking it home — and why?

It’s not thattt clear. TDH started from that North versus South debate, and whilst a lot of our crowds favourite rappers are from North, our last two winners have been from South. Every time we think we know how it’ll go, the night surprises us. We want to say South because within our scene South is known to be the hub for a lot of Londons talent and probably the most impactful. On the build up to this event though we’ve found that people supporting North have made it more clear than anyone else, if that makes sense. Really it just depends who shows up and out on the day and we have a great lineup of rappers to represent.

3) You’ve built a strong reputation for running live events and platforms for artists, what’s the most rewarding part of bringing these nights together?

Probably the audience reaction. A lot of people come not knowing what to expect, sometimes not even being into rap like that, and they leave having had an amazing night. Seeing the room come alive, the crowd reacting, artists connecting, and then watching those connections turn into collaborations afterwards is what makes it worth it. Creating a space where people genuinely enjoy themselves and connect is everything for us.

4) Looking ahead, what’s the bigger vision for TDH, and what do you ultimately want artists and the community to gain from being part of these events?

Long term, we want TDH to be a bridge between artists and real opportunities. Not just one-off prizes, but support that actually helps build careers, like studio access, video support, interviews and visibility. We also want to keep growing the community, showing that rap events can feel welcoming, exciting and different. Ultimately, TDH is about connection, creativity and giving artists and audiences a space that feels like home. Ultimately we like creating moments.

TDH CYPHA — North vs South London lands at DUB 5 on 21/02/26. Two sides. Ten rappers. Three rounds. Three genres. One winner chosen by the crowd.
