A Look at This Week’s Releases at DUB 5

This past week saw DUB 5 close out January with three distinct releases, each offering a different perspective while sharing a common focus on honesty, craft and identity.

The run opened with KDthePoet’s Lunch, a focused and grounded release that reflects hunger and forward motion. Built on understated production, the track set the tone for the week with clarity and intent.

Midweek followed with ypclzz’s WorldWithoutWords, an industrial, emotionally driven record exploring grief, pressure and isolation. The response highlighted ypclzz’s growing reputation for a sound that feels personal and uncompromising.

Closing the week, NYDUS released City of London 1 Vol. 1, an EP rooted in place and perspective. Built with multiple musicians, the project takes a layered, observational approach to life inside the city.

The releases have been met with strong feedback across platforms, reinforcing the direction DUB 5 is moving in.
February releases will be announced Monday 2 February.
