First Look: DUB 5’s January Artwork
KDthePoet - Lunch [official artwork]
Dropping Monday 26 January, KDthePoet opens with Lunch, produced by Nate Wyatt. Shot from the DUB 5 Studio A penthouse balcony, the artwork places KD against the Central London skyline with The Shard cutting through the frame. It’s a grounded, unfiltered moment captured in the same space where the record was created.
ypclzz - WorldWithoutWords [official artwork]
On Wednesday 28 January, ypclzz follows with World Without Words, produced by Helna. The artwork is hand-drawn by ypclzz himself, leaning into symbolism and abstraction. Raw lines, fragmented forms, and emotional motifs suggest a project driven by feeling over explanation.
NYDUS - City of London Vol. 1 [official artwork]
Closing the month on Friday 30 January, NYDUS releases City of London Vol. 1. The artwork, designed by Jordan Wilson, is presented as a physical collage of daytime photographs taken across the City of London. Featuring civic landmarks, working spaces, and repeated perspectives, the imagery feels observational and architectural. NYDUS appears within the environment rather than above it, documenting movement, routine and position within the city. It mirrors an EP built collaboratively with multiple musicians, layered and grounded in place.
Three artworks. Three perspectives. One cohesive visual statement from DUB 5 as January comes to a close.
