NYDUS Recorded This Track While Recovering in Hospital — “Listen & Learn” Shot Across Rome

NYDUS has released the official music video for Listen & Learn, a pivotal moment within City of London Vol. 1. Directed by NYDUS and produced by DUB 5, the video was shot across Rome and captures one of the most intense periods of the project’s creation.

Only four days prior to filming, NYDUS was involved in a road incident that resulted in facial injury and hospital treatment. The video features him wearing a neck brace throughout, with scenes filmed in hospital and parts of the track recorded while still recovering. Rather than being staged, the visual documents that moment honestly, allowing vulnerability and focus to exist side by side.

Filmed at 128 Audio Studio in Rome, alongside iconic city locations, industrial spaces and a private mansion, the video reflects contrast between pressure and composure. Musically, Listen & Learn is built around live instrumentation, including saxophone, keys, guitar and synths, with a beat switch in the outro pushing the track forward. It stands as NYDUS’ most personal and defining visual to date.
